Small Meeting room is now set up for phone service with long distance calling restrictions.
Other rooms had the 1-800's restrictions lifted.

Email Update

Ask Us email is technically up and running but encountering some bugs in the Outlook interface. To check Ask Us email through the web-based service, go to
https://mail.telluridelibrary.org/owa
(it's in the favorites menu).
Use askus as the username. The password is set to library.

Ref Desk phone!

We've been doing an awesome job of helping our patrons - yet that leaves the phone unattended while we are away. So if you're in the "back office" and you hear the phone ring, please pick it up - also, I've updated our phone message to encourage callers to leave a message.

Lost PSP Drive

A patron is looking for a silver PSP thumb drive that they left at the library on Saturday, 6/14. If found, call 327-4991.

Built-in Memory Card Readers

The new Gateway computers in the Tech lab, #1-2, #11-12
have built in Memory Card Readers. So if patrons have a camera card, they can just insert
it into the slot. No need for an external device. The slots are on the front of the machine.

Looking good!

The upstairs is really coming together now with the shelves, furniture and new desk.
Sierra has provided us with a great organizer for the handbills, etc. (behind the monitor, cloaking the cords)
So let's all work together to keep top of our Referenc Desk clutter free.

Also, we've got a bookcase now so we can store a few items on that.

Internet connections

The Internet connections in the Telluride Room have been restored. So users without wireless capabilities can use these to link up to the Internet.

Also, let's be vigilant about what our users plug into the routers - if you have doubts, then err on the side of caution and always check with Joe first!
