Virus Scan Option for Patrons

We have a scanning option on Barracuda for patrons who think they may have a virus. Barracuda will find most but not all spyware. Direct them to the following address: http://192.168.0.3:8000/

Once there, click on "Run Barracuda Spyware Removal Tool". There should be an option to "Remove" any spyware. After clicking "Remove", reboot the computer.

Internet Issues

When troubleshooting the Internet connection, check that the lights on the router are green. If they are red, try resetting the router by turning it off for about 30 seconds and then back on.

If the lights are green on the router, try resetting Barracuda by turning it off (Blue power button on the right) for 10 seconds and then back on. Barracuda takes a couple of minutes to start working again.
